Getting Started
From Pickwiki
A thread on the u2-users mailing list produced a great list of resources for getting started with UniVerse. Most of these resources should be equally applicable to UniData (and perhaps other Pick database variants). You can read the thread here on mail-archive.

Books
(Section needs more development) These books have been published for the MV industry. Nothing new has been published for several years, partially due to availability of free information on websites and partially due to high cost of producing hardcopy books for a limited audience.
- Pick The Easy Way (Stern and Pollack)
- Exploring the Pick Operating System (Sisk and Van Arsdale)
- Pick for Professionals (Rodstein)
- The PICK Operating System (Bourdon)
- Access, the Pick Enquiry Language (Bull)
- The Pick Programming Language : Basic (Bull)
- The Pick Operating System (Bull)
- Lots of material from Malcolm Bull (any links? his site is gone)
- Many other books have been published but seem to have been lost to the ages. For example, go to the Library of Congress and enter Pick computer into the search box to see many Pick-related books.
- See Jon Sisk's list of Pick Publications and Bibliography and Library
- ... others?
Other
Increasingly, product documentation from the MV DBMS vendors has some sort of tutorial material. Ask your DBMS provider for links to all product documentation and tutorials.
