I am just one of many who did not start out to be a "Pick" programmer. My first career was in Production Management. A layoff or two and a change of career was in order. In January of 1982 I was hired as a programmer for a trucking company in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were converting from a Basic Four system to Prime Information.
