&lt;div&gt;I am just one of many who did not start out to be a &amp;quot;Pick&amp;quot; programmer. My first career was in Production Management. A layoff or two and a change of career was in order. In January of 1982 I was hired as a programmer for a trucking company in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were converting from a Basic Four system to Prime Information.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
And so it began...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My last full time engagement at this point (April 2019) ended February 1, 2019 with Rocket Software, Inc. My MV career will probably finish off with consulting, until retirement looms large. :-)&lt;br /&gt;
